Danpal A/S

The company is nationwide with departments in Karlslunde, Fakse and Vamdrup, and the range includes, amongst others, return pallets, disposable pallets and pallet frames.

Danpal has a strong focus on the environment and wants to ensure optimal utilization in order to have the least possible load on the environment, which is why repair and recycling of wooden pallets is one of Danpal's core services. The company also has a strong tradition of taking responsibility for marginalized people and offers good conditions and a good working environment. Thus, 15-20% of the 30 employees at Danpal are previously marginalized. This brings the company to the forefront of the growing demands for sustainable production and social responsibility. Together with a very efficient production, it has resulted in a large number of Denmark's leading companies as customers, including Haldor Topsøe, Novo Nordisk, Novozymes, Fleggaard and Abena.

Danpal's largest market is Denmark, but the company has sales to Germany as well and also sees opportunities in other countries.

Danpal has a gross profit of around DKK 30 million annually and was established in 2005.

Development

In August 2020, in collaboration with RM Group / Ole Juul Jørgensen, Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest bought the majority of shares in Danpal A/S. With 40 percent of the shares, Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest, original owners and Ole Juul Jørgensen as new chairman now own the company. The change in ownership structure has occurred as part of a generational change in which Christian Lisberg, who has been with the company for 25 years, has joined as CEO and co-owner. The common ambition is to develop the company through new sales initiatives and increased use of Danpal's efficient production, strong customer relations and further development of the environmentally sustainable and socially responsible profile – including for the benefit of more marginalized people.
