ProfilService A/S

ProfilService is a socially driven company that has a strong tradition of taking responsibility of marginalized people who are offered good conditions and a good working environment.

Thus, a significant proportion of the 162 (FTE) employees at ProfilService are previously marginalized. The company has many management resources such as service managers per hourly paid employees. As a result, when ProfilService hires marginalized people, ProfilService has the managerial resources to make an extra effort in employee training and well-being, which is reflected in ProfilService's high employee retention.

ProfilService also has a strong focus on the environment, which is why the company uses only The Nordic Swan Ecolabelled products.

ProfilService has a gross profit of around DKK 83 million annually and was established in 1992.

Development

Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest bought the majority of the shares in ProfilService A/S in January 2021. Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest thus owns 57,5 % of the shares. This is part of a generational change in which Per Jens Nielsen, CEO and co-owner of the company since 2008, throttles down. Per Jens Nielsen will continue to own part of the company and becomes chairman of the Board. Steen Meedom, who has been a co-owner since 2014, continues as co-owner and CEO.

The common ambition is to develop the companies’, amongst other things, social responsibility through, for example, managerial resources that will ensure employee’s training and well-being.
