Refurb A/S

Refurb A/S was exited to Egiss Group in June 2022. Refurb buys used IT equipment from both public and private companies, renovates and upgrades it with the latest software before it is resold to both private consumers, businesses and the public sector.

About 80% of the CO2 emissions related to IT products such as computers, tablets and smartphones come from the actual production of the equipment. Refurb helps saving large amounts of CO2 by acquiring used IT equipment, data plain and renew it to be able to resell it as recycled IT equipment.

Refurb was established in 2008 and has since its inception experienced a constant growth in both turnover and the number of employees. Refurb is one of three companies in the Nordic region that are authorized to use Microsoft on used equipment.

Refurb management believes that everyone has skills and therefore a place in the labour market. Therefore, there is room for both employees in ordinary and special positions at Refurb. In 2022, the company has 55 employees, of whom about 25% are in special positions with special competencies or are moving away from marginalization.
