Tolstrup A/S

Tolstrup A/S provides green care and snow control for a growing group of municipalities, utility companies, housing companies, and large and medium-sized companies, primarily in Jutland and Funen.

Tolstrup A/S was established by the brothers Christoffer and Peter Lund together with their dad Peter Lund in 2015 on the family's farm in Tolstrup near Fredericia. Since then, the company has grown significantly and is, among other things, twice named Gazelle growth company by Børsen.

The growth is based on Tolstrup's commitment to quality work, where the customer is treated well from start to finish, and not least is included in the work processes, whether it is the maintenance of green outdoor areas, snow control, or construction projects. At the same time, Tolstrup has a strong focus on the environment, safety, working environment and employee well-being, and has continuously focused on taking social responsibility and providing new opportunities for marginalized people from the edge of the labor market in cooperation with municipal customers.

Tolstrup has also become proficient in the establishment of areas with biodiversity and is a supplier to municipalities and private business customers, where the company has converted several areas into flower meadows, nature areas, and other nature-friendly measures.

Tolstrup has a gross profit of around DKK 33 million annually, and the company has currently 80-100 employees in the high season, of which 15 pct. comes from the edge of the labor market.

Development

Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest bought the majority of the shares in Tolstrup A/S in August 2022. Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest thus owns 58 percent of the shares. Christoffer and Peter Lund continue as co-owners and executives in the company. At the same time, a professional Board is established with the experienced businessman Gynther Kohls as chairman of the Board. In addition, there will be a possibility for senior employees in Tolstrup to become shareholders in the company in the future.

The common ambition is to future-proof Tolstrup commercially and further develop the sustainable and socially responsible profile – to the benefit of more people from the edge of the labor market.
