WaterCare ApS

WaterCare has a strong focus on the aquatic environment with core services within waste and surface water treatment. In addition, WaterCare develops rainwater systems that contribute to the saving of the water resources that we have been allocated.

Over the past 20 years, founder Henrik Rønnest has built up the company WaterCare with a focus on solutions to improve the aquatic environment. Especially in recent years, the company's development has taken shape with growth in both the top and bottom line.

The company contributes to SDG 6. Clean Water and Sanitation, 8. Decent work and economic growth and 13. Climate action.

WaterCare has a gross profit of around DKK 23 million annually and was established in 2001.

Development

Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest has, in collaboration with the two business partners Ole Juul Jørgensen and Per Dollerup Mikkelsen, bought the majority of the shares in Watercare ApS in April 2022. Den Sociale Kapitalfond Invest owns about 43 percent and is part of a combined group of owners with founder and former sole owner Henrik Rønnest, Ole Juul Jørgensen and Per Dollerup Mikkelsen, who is the new Chairman of the Board. This is part of Henrik Rønnest's desire to expand the ownership group and the need for new professional skills with a view to further development and expansion in the Nordic markets. Henrik Rønnest will continue as CEO.

The common ambition is to develop the company by, among other things, developing and marketing the products on the Nordic markets. WaterCare must be at the forefront of future climate challenges by being a leading contributor to a cleaner water environment and to better use of our water resources. At the same time, the company's socially responsible profile must be developed – for the benefit of more marginalized people.
